Goole Public Realm Improvements

Goole Town Deal in association with East Riding of Yorkshire Council have secured Town Deal funding to carry out a range of improvements to the Train Station Plaza and underpass, High Street, Paradise Place, Market Hall, Market Yard, Church Street and North Street. The proposed improvements are designed to support regeneration by enhancing public spaces for people to enjoy and in turn attract more investment. The proposals are now at an advanced design stage, and we would like to know what you think of them and which ones mean the most to you and your future enjoyment of the town centre.

We have focused on six areas of public realm within the town centre. Please look at the following designs and let us know your thoughts on each one. The designs could also be scaled back and still improve the appearance, accessibility and public amenity of the areas. Likewise, if something additional is required in a particular location and is achievable within budget, that too could be considered.
